Resetting Your PIN

Your PIN, or personal identification number, is used in combination with your user name or library card number (barcode) to provide you with secure access to your library account. Typically, it is a four-digit number, usually the last four digits of your phone number. The PIN is provided by your library, but you can (and should) change it.

If you forget your PIN, your library cannot retrieve it for you. Instead, use this process to reset it.

► To reset your PIN

  1. On the Login page, click the Forgot your PIN link.
  2. On the Forgot your PIN page, enter your user name or barcode.
  3. Click Send.
  4. In a few seconds, an email will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
  5. Open the email and click the link.
  6. On the Reset Password page, enter a new PIN, and then confirm it by typing it again.
  7. Click Reset.

Use the new PIN the next time you log in.

Note: If you forget your username, you can still use your barcode to log in. If you forget both, contact your library to get your barcode.
