9 New Library Partnerships Formed in the First Quarter of 2021

Toronto, Ontario, April 12, 2021 — In the first three months of 2021, BiblioCommons formed new partnerships with public libraries across the United States. Newly subscribed libraries include Canton Public Library, Chandler Public Library, East Chicago Public Library, Elk Grove Village Public Library, Glendale Library, Arts & Culture, Herrick District Library, Kenton County Public Library, Strathcona County Library Board, and Tulsa City-County Library. These libraries are all on different ILSs (Integrated Library Systems.) Each will work closely with the BiblioCommons team to integrate their systems to the BiblioCommons product suite and elevate their online patron experiences.

Canton Public Library, in Michigan, serves a population of 90,000 community members. The library will undergo a complete refresh of its catalog and website with the support of its new subscription to BiblioCore, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents.

Chandler Public Library serves a community of 250,000 in Chandler, Arizona. They have subscribed to BiblioCore and BiblioApps to support their catalog and library app.

East Chicago Public Library supports a population of 30,000 in East Chicago, Indiana. They will be using BiblioCore to power their library catalog.

Elk Grove Village Public Library, located in Illinois, has subscribed to the BiblioCore catalog to serve its population of approximately 22,000.

Glendale Library, Arts & Culture, will support a population of 200,000 in California with its new subscription to BiblioCore.

Herrick District Library, a consortium member of the Lakeland Library Cooperative, joined BiblioCommons in 2018 with their new subscription to BiblioCore. In February of this year, they expanded their subscription to BiblioWeb and BiblioEvents. The library supports a population of 100,000 members.

Kenton County Public Library serves a population of 160,000. Kenton County's community in Kentucky will benefit from an all-new library catalog and website powered by BiblioCore, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents.

Strathcona County Library Board first partnered with BiblioCommons in 2012 with the acquisition of BiblioCore to support their catalog. In February, they extended their partnership to BiblioWeb and BiblioEvents.

Tulsa City-County Library joined BiblioCommons in 2012 with a subscription to BiblioCore. At the beginning of 2021, they added BiblioApps to their suite of products to support patrons looking to access library services and collections on the go. The library serves a population of 600,000 members.
