BiblioCommons Welcomes New Library Partners in the Second Quarter of 2021

Toronto, Ontario, July 7, 2021 — BiblioCommons formed new partnerships with public libraries across the United States and Canada in the second quarter of the year. The BiblioCommons team is excited at the opportunity to work with new consortia and public libraries of all sizes in urban, suburban, and rural areas across North America.

Newly subscribed libraries include Yuma County Library District, the Ontario Library Consortium, and Westerville Public Library. These libraries are either on Symphony or Sierra ILSs (Integrated Library Systems.) BiblioCommons will work closely with the new partners to help transform their online library services into more engaging and rewarding experiences.

Yuma County Library District serves a population of 220,000 in the state of Arizona. The library will undergo a complete refresh of its catalog and website with the support of its new subscription to BiblioCore, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents. They have also subscribed to BiblioApps (supported on iPhone and Android) to give patrons quick and easy access to content discovery, borrowing, and personal record-keeping on the go.

The Ontario Library Consortium includes 29 library systems, 8 county and regional municipality public libraries, and 21 medium-sized public libraries located across southern Ontario. Member libraries will be using the BiblioCore catalog and BiblioCloudRecords to support a population size of approximately one million members.

Westerville Public Library, in Franklin County, Ohio, serves a population of 91,000. They have subscribed to BiblioCore, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents to support their catalog and website.

The new partners listed above have begun implementation and will be live on the BiblioCommons platform in 2021 and early 2022. “We are always delighted to have new library partners come onboard.
