BiblioCon ’22 Registration is Open to All Public Libraries
Toronto, Ontario, July 14, 2022 — BiblioCon, the Online Public Library Conference hosted by BiblioCommons is back this year with incredible new speakers and insightful sessions that cover various topics about the digital library experience.
Like last year, this year's event will be held virtually to enable audiences from far and wide to attend. Registration is complimentary to ensure that BiblioCon is welcoming and accessible to anyone working at a public library.
Conference attendees can join public library staff, industry leaders, and BiblioTeam experts on August 24 and 25. The two days of public library-specific sessions are organized into three theme-based tracks:
- Love Your Online Library: Great for all public library staff interested in sessions about the online patron experience.
- BiblioCommons Product: Recommended for library staff who have implemented a BiblioCommons product or are in the process of implementing or considering BiblioCommons services.
- Conversations in the Commons: For library staff who have implemented a BiblioCommons product, sessions are structured as small group discussions with facilitators leading the conversations.
Additionally, and back by popular demand, are the BiblioCommons Office Hours, hosted on Friday, August 26. Office Hour sessions are exclusive to current BiblioCommons Partner Libraries who want to ask questions and connect with BiblioCommons Product Managers.
BiblioCon '22 will give attendees the opportunity to network with public libraries and industry thought leaders to share concrete tools and tips on how to navigate the digital landscape to enhance experiences for patrons and library staff. Since the BiblioCommons software platform supports several different departments within a public library, attendees from across the public library space are encouraged to attend. Past BiblioCon attendees included library directors, web managers and content developers, marketing and communications directors and staff, IT directors and staff, ILS managers, technical services and collections directors and staff, public service staff, and readers' advisory experts.
This year's incredible event came together with the support of a stellar Planning Committee that includes public library staff and BiblioTeam members. Their ideas and involvement have helped us continue to raise the bar and provide an event that is welcoming, inspiring, and valuable to public library staff focused on enhancing and supporting the online library experience.
