New Library Partners Subscribe to BiblioCommons

Toronto, Ontario, June 25, 2025 — BiblioCommons is proud to welcome six new library systems to its growing community of partners across North America. Toronto Public Library (Ontario), Burlington County Library System (New Jersey), Lake County Library (California), Fort Vancouver Regional Library District (Washington), Coquitlam Public Library (British Columbia), and Guelph Public Library (Ontario) have all recently joined the BiblioCommons platform. The BiblioCommons team is excited to collaborate with these forward-thinking libraries to enhance their digital services and support more connected, engaging, and user-friendly experiences for their patrons.

Toronto Public Library (TPL), the largest public library system in Canada, is now a BiblioCommons Partner Library. The library has subscribed to BiblioCore, BiblioApps, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents. For TPL, it was essential to find a solution that feels truly cohesive for both staff and patrons. What really sets BiblioCommons apart is how naturally the products work together as one unified system. No other vendor in the library space offers this level of integration. TPL customers don't see a distinction between the catalog, the website, or event booking tool. They want one intuitive, modern platform where they can find everything they need. Lisa Radha Vohra, Collections & Membership Services Director, shares, "We're thrilled to offer a digital experience that reflects our mission to engage and inspire our community while also improving accessibility and awareness for all users. We're also looking forward to a more stable and future-ready tech environment. This is a big step forward in modernizing how we connect and serve the city of Toronto."

Burlington County Library System (BCLS) will utilize BiblioCore, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents to offer an integrated and inspiring online library experience for its community. The decision to adopt the BiblioCommons platform comes as BCLS addresses a unique challenge: bridging the gap between its library catalog and website. As library users increasingly expect cohesive digital experiences, this integration is essential. "We really wanted to give our library users a seamless web experience," shared Ranjna Das, Library Director for BCLS. "Many of our customers don't distinguish between our catalog and the website, and because of this, their online experience with BCLS kept them in two silos. With the BiblioCommons platform, our users will have a more unified experience."

Lake County Library, a member of the Sonoma County Library System consortium, has joined BiblioCommons with a subscription to the BiblioCore discovery layer. This partnership comes on the heels of the library's 50th anniversary, marking five decades of service and connection with the community. Known for its welcoming spirit and creative programming, Lake County Library fosters strong community ties through events like its bookmobile service, storytime in the park, and the beloved Read-to-a-Dog program, which builds confidence and supports literacy development in young readers. With BiblioCore, the library is taking the next step in enriching the patron experience and making it easier than ever for residents to discover and engage with everything their library has to offer.

Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries (FVRLibraries) is taking a significant step forward in enhancing their digital presence by partnering with BiblioCommons and subscribing to BiblioCore, BiblioApps, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents. With 15 locations serving a diverse and dynamic community, FVRLibraries is committed to improving usability and awareness of their digital offerings. FVRLibraries' new digital experience will integrate their catalog, mobile app, website, and event calendar. It will feature improved accessibility and a more dynamic, proactive user experience tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community.

As part of its ongoing commitment to delivering a unified, inclusive, and engaging online experience, Coquitlam Public Library is enhancing its digital offerings with a subscription to BiblioWeb. This latest investment builds on the library's relationship with BiblioCommons, which began at the start of 2024 when they subscribed to BiblioCore. Coquitlam Public Library, which serves its community through two locations, is recognized for its innovative approach to community engagement and resource accessibility. The library extends its services beyond its physical branches, ensuring residents across Coquitlam neighborhoods have access to vital resources that foster creativity, learning, and inclusivity.

Guelph Public Library joined the BiblioCommons community with subscriptions to BiblioCore, BiblioWeb, and BiblioEvents to introduce a more intuitive, personalized, and empowering digital experience to the thousands of people who rely on the library every day. As the most used recreational facility in Guelph, welcoming over 1,500 daily visitors and circulating more than two million resources annually, the library plays a vital role in the community. With BiblioCommons, Guelph Public Library is furthering its commitment to offering spaces, resources, and support that help individuals overcome barriers and craft lives of their choosing. At the heart of this partnership is the library's aspirational goal: that every interaction instills "the expectation of empowerment" for patrons, staff, and partners alike.
