BiblioEmail Is Now Included with BiblioWeb as Part of a Digital Experience Platform

Toronto, Ontario, June 23, 2021 — Connecting patrons to programs and services provided by public libraries is a fundamental goal of all libraries and their stakeholders. The most effective way for libraries to connect to users is via a holistic digital experience that includes engaging content, dynamic events listings, and relevant email communications. To that end, the team at BiblioCommons is pleased to share that BiblioEmail, the email marketing tool that was released in February of 2021, is now included with BiblioWeb, the most robust content management system and webpage builder for public libraries.

BiblioCommons is constantly looking for new ways to serve public libraries better. For years, libraries have greatly benefited from the "create once, publish anywhere" capabilities of BiblioWeb. With the tool, library staff can create one piece of content that is quickly and easily promoted across multiple web pages, without the tedious work of copying and pasting text and links or downloading and re-uploading imagery. The magic behind BiblioWeb lies in its flexibility because it supports large libraries that want a customized website with features that are unique to their needs, as well as small libraries looking for a simpler templated approach to website management.

The ability to repurpose content that has already been created in BiblioWeb is BiblioEmail’s most notable feature. BiblioEmail intelligently pulls all of the library's content into email campaigns and newsletter templates tailored to email subscribers’ preferred interests, location, and age groups. Libraries can create sophisticated email campaign workflows or use the pre-loaded out-of-the-box drip campaign templates.

“BiblioWeb and BiblioEvents are available to public libraries as one offering, so it makes sense that we would extend the subscription to include BiblioEmail as well,” shares Sebastien Lopes, General Manager at BiblioCommons. “We’ve seen how our beta library partners are using the integration between BiblioWeb and BiblioEmail to create memorable, resourceful, and personalized communications that involve minimal staff effort due to how easily content can be repurposed. We are inspired by how these libraries are leveraging the powerful integration between our products and want to make sure that more libraries can benefit in the same way.”

Anyone interested in finding out more about BiblioEmail is encouraged to attend an upcoming webinar on July 22, 2021, at 3 PM ET, Send Emails That Will Strengthen Your Relationship with Patrons. Join us to see how BiblioEmail works, learn about what’s coming next with the tool, and find out how libraries can build email drip campaigns that keep users engaged throughout an entire program series. We’ll also share how Chicago Public Library and Arapahoe Libraries, our BiblioEmail beta partner libraries, utilize the email tool to create beautiful and fully integrated marketing campaigns for their patrons.
